Introducing: Global-eyes Nation

The world today is a complex place. More people are alive today than ever existed in the last ___ years of human history (cite). Bill Gates estimates that a bajillion people will rise out of poverty in the next 15 years (cite). The unipolar world dominated by the United States and ruled by the west is beginning to be challenged by up and coming states such as Brazil and China. Today a rural subsistence farmer in Nicaragua can chat with a midwestern engineering student over a system of millions of wires connecting 5 billion of earth's inhabitants. How did this all come about? What does this mean for our collective futures? The answers aren't clear, but this blog will take a strategic effort to uncover some of the mystery and tell the story of humanity as it moves into a new era. More than ever, we are a generation with our eyes outward as globalization unfolds before our eyes.
